The math
A traditional fund formation runs well into six figures once the drafting hours land on the bill. With SwiftLaw the drafting is automated, and counsel bills only for judgment: review, negotiation, sign-off, on a fee scoped before work starts. On a live $10M fund, that came out to 80% less legal spend.
Pricing questions
How much does SwiftLaw cost?
Pricing is scoped to your fund: an annual platform subscription covering drafting, redlining, and the fund document engine for your whole team, plus flat, per-vehicle attorney review through the counsel network — or bring your own lawyers at no extra platform cost. Tell us what you're raising and we'll quote it up front. Talk to sales at saketh@tryswiftlaw.com.
What does the platform do versus the attorneys?
The platform does the production work, at launch and after. It drafts your LPA, PPM, and subscription documents from your terms, applies redlines, tracks every version, then runs the fund's paperwork: LP onboarding, capital calls, amendments, compliance filings, diligence. The attorneys do what only attorneys can: judgment, negotiation, sign-off. You get a fund formed and run by counsel in a fraction of the hours counsel used to bill.
Do I have to use an attorney from the SwiftLaw network?
No. The network exists so managers without fund counsel can get across the line fast, with fees scoped up front. Already have lawyers? They work in SwiftLaw directly. Native Word, tracked changes, nothing new to learn.
Is there a long-term contract?
The platform is an annual subscription. Attorney engagements are scoped per vehicle, so you only pay for counsel when you're forming or amending something.
Can I see SwiftLaw on my own documents before subscribing?
Yes. Book a demo and we'll run SwiftLaw against your term sheet or precedent on the call, so you can judge output quality before you commit.
Is my data used to train AI models?
No. Your documents are not used to train models, and SwiftLaw runs on SOC 2-audited infrastructure with continuous monitoring. Security documentation is available through our trust center.
